With 5 mountain ranges, 3 deserts, a third of the way round the world to travel on some of the worst roads / tracks / desert / complete crud, and not a huge amount of time to do it in you want a car that is comfortable, reliable, robust, easy to fix, easy to source parts for, as new as possible and, ideally, reasonably fast on the bits where the road is surfaced. The 1 litre maximum engine size restriction makes this more difficult but after much searching we came up with the perfect vehicle…. OK so it didn’t meet all of the criteria above but it does look good, (and is tax exempt – which has to be a bonus!!) Have a look at Martha here: Martha
