  We consulted the holy grail of travel (lonely planet guide) on car travel in Mongolia and they say, "Travelling around Mongolia with your own car or motorcycle – without a driver – is not recommended. What looks like main roads on the map are often little more than tyre tracks in the dirt, sand or mud. All maps are inadequate and there is hardly a signpost in the whole country." Oh well, what do they know anyhow!

  This is where we finish, drop off Martha at an orphanage for them to sell and go and get a beer! (Right, because Martha has a hope in hell of getting here. I’m not doubting her you understand but it is a long way for the old girl and let's face it she is pretty desirable and might get pinched long before we get this far.)
